The Ultimate Knife is part of Gerber’s Bear Grylls Survival Seriesline of products. This fixed blade knife combines Bear Grylls' survival experience/knowledge of key features needed in a survival knife with Gerber's design and manufacturing capabilities.
The Ultimate Knife features a high carbon stainless steel drop point blade with a half serrated edge. The handle uses a textured rubber grip with that is great for use in dry or wet conditions. The handle also features a heavy duty pommel at the butt end of the handle and twin holes for use in lashing the knife to a stick for use as a spear. The included lanyard has an emergency whistle for alerting help and rescue.
The sheath for the Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife is loaded with features. The light-weight, military grade sheath has a slick water tight fire steel starter, ferrocerium rod that locks into sheath for use with the striker notch on the spine of the knife's blade. There is also an integrated diamond sharpener for sharpening in the field. Included in the sheath is Bear's Priorities of Survival pocket guide.
