Because SurvivalKnives is an authorized dealer many companies require us to abide by their minimum advertised pricing (MAP) policies. However, there are other unauthorized dealers of the same product lines who are able to undercut us in pricing because they do not abide by these MAP policies. If you find a lower price on an identical "in stock" item please contact us before you make a purchase from an unauthorized retailer!
SurvivalKnives will match and beat any competitor's price on identical "in stock" products from competing online stores. Simply contact us by phone or email, provide us with the lower advertised price and we'll match and beat it. You can rest easy knowing you can get the best price, best in stock inventory, best service and still buy from an authorized dealer! Certain restrictions apply so please be sure to read the information below.
The "competitor's price" is defined as the delivered total (the cost of the product including shipping). If the competitor's product cost is $10 less than us, but they charge $15 more for shipping then our price is lower.
"In stock" means that the competitor has the item in their store or warehouse available for immediate shipment. We do not match prices with companies that drop ship.
"Identical products" means that the item is the same item we are selling. The item must have the same SKU, the item must be new and the product must be a current production model (i.e. we will not price match rare or discontinued items).
"Competing online stores" are defined as retail companies similar to ours that operate online websites. We will not match prices from online auctions, classified ads, "a guy selling out of his car", or any company with a bad reputation (some companies list items as "in stock" but do not have any to sell). Company reputations can be easily determined by visiting the BBB.com, ResellerRatings.com, or doing an online search.
"Advertised price" refers to any price on a competitor's website or any price they quote you in a written format. Advertised price does not include an offer given to you verbally (in person or via telephone).
The bottom line: We will beat a competing online store's advertised price on identical in stock products. We will not play back and forth games.
One final disclaimer: There may be cases where we simply can't match a price (i.e. We cannot sell an item for less than our cost). In these cases we will be upfront and ask for your understanding. But... If a price on a competing website is "too good to be true" then it probably is.
